Saturday morning, the Jamestown 14-U Girls Hockey Team beat Brockport 4-2 at the championship/playoffs in Tonawanda. Kyla scored a goal! It was a good clean shot into the net from a rebound. After the game, Kyla and I went over the bridge to Fort Erie to get me a new goalie equipment bag at Don Simmons. I was surprised to find my friend Ron working, as he usually doesn't work on Saturdays. It was good to see him! (Hi, Ron!)
. Then Kyla and I went to the Walden Galleria Mall. Did some shopping. It was a nice day!
Sunday it was back to Tonawanda for a 10:30 semi-final game against Brockport again. They won, so it was off to the finals vs. Tonawanda at 5:00. In the in-between time the entire team and parents went to Montana Steakhouse for lunch. There were 30 of us and it was a blast, as usual. The team told the restaurant that it was their coach's birthday. They made him wear a fuzzy brown football helmet with moose antlers on it and then hit him in the face with whipped cream.
He's a good sport and a great coach!
The final was a heartbreaker.
They lost in sudden death overtime. Those girls played SO WELL!!!! All came down to a breakaway goal. It was a really exciting game. The lockerroom after the game was full of tears and we had to ride all the way home with a very dejected hockey player. Telling them they played the best game of the season was no consolation and just made them mad. But they came home with a trophy and medals. Way to go Laker girls!!! We're proud of you all!
The weather here today is damp and cold. It's foggy and nasty out. Welcome to the work week....
Website of the day: http://www.tvparty.com/ Remember when TV was actually FUNNY???
Slightly overcast, high 30's here at the dump.
Ginger was really bad this morning. She peed on my carseat and I sat in it. I had to go change my pants and had to sit on a couple of towels all the way to work. Needless to say, I started out my day pretty annoyed.
Watched Alien vs. Predator last night. It was pretty good!
I really like Happy Bunny. http://www.blackjackinc.com/

Happy
St. Patrick's Day!
Top o' the Day to you!
I'm here at the dump. It's a beautiful day here ... blue sky, 40 degrees, sunny.
Looks like spring is almost here.
It's going to be great not having to drive to work in the dark and snow anymore!
Today I listened to the first part of "Chase" by Dean Koontz on audiobook.
Joe lent me a copy of Alien vs. Predator. We'll watch it tonight.
Arm's a little stiff, but not too painful. Ginger's doing better as well. She'll be coming with me to work for the next week or so just to make sure she doesn't rip open her stitches.
I still haven't sewn the velcro to my chest/arms. I brought it in Tuesday, and here it is Thursday and I haven't done a thing. Maybe I should take it home and sew on the velcro during the movie. Good idea.
Kyla's
still sick and missed her hockey game last night
. Hopefully she'll be better by Saturday's game up in Tonawanda. It's the Championship Tournament vs Tonawanda and Brockport. Go Lady Lakers!

Truck Driver of the Week: Joe from Battaglia for lending me DVD's to watch! Awesome, dude!
Last Movie Watched: Catwoman. It was okay, but I really don't like Sharon Stone at all. She's a bitch.
Well, that's all for my first day of Blogging! I know, it's boring, but it'll get better... I promise!
